Events/Notices
ATTENTION PARENTS OF NURSERY AGE CHILDREN—There will be no nursery during the
month of August.
USE OF THE CHURCH
No commitments
for the use of the Church should be made by any individual or organization
without first being cleared through the Church Clerk and approval by the
Pastor. This is imperative to
preclude conflict in the use of the facilities and last-minute
embarrassment.
FROM THE TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
Every Sunday,
we reserve spaces in front of the Church for the Church and Pastor’s
vehicles. Signs are also displayed for
these vehicles. We are requesting
that you please do not park in those reserved spaces. If you have any questions, please contact
the Transportation Ministry. Thank
you for your continued cooperation and support.
PEW LEADERS
This year the
Membership Committee is accepting recommendations for members who would
like to serve as Pew Leaders. Those
who volunteer will help our Pastor, Deacons and Church Clerk and other
Ministries watch between me and thee while we were absent one from
another. As a Pew Leader, you will
be an ambassador who attends church regularly, greets members and
visitors. You would also help to
identify members who are missing from Sunday worship service for an
extended period of time so they may be contacted. We have 20 full pews. We would like to 2 leaders per pew. Priority will be given to seniors.
NURTURE FOR BAPTIST CHURCHES(NBC)—During this quarter, we shall focus on
the meaning and significance of the Spirit-filled life. NBC is in session every Sunday at 6 p.m.
FROM THE PASTOR’S OFFICE—Mrs. and Rev. Boston will be on
vacation beginning Sunday, August 3
through Sunday, August 24, 2008.
While they are away, Rev. Basil Scott will be minister in charge.
