The Laymen’s Ministry of First Baptist Church
expresses its most sincere appreciation to all who contributed to and
prayed for the success of our Laymen’s Breakfast and our Sunday morning
service. Your kindness and support
shall not be forgotten.
USE OF THE CHURCH
No commitments
for the use of the Church should be made by any individual or organization
without first being cleared through the Church Clerk and approval by the
Pastor. This is imperative to
preclude conflict in the use of the facilities and last-minute
embarrassment.
FROM THE TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY
Every Sunday,
we reserve spaces in front of the Church for the Church and Pastor’s
vehicles. Signs are also displayed
for these vehicles. We are
requesting that you please do not park in those reserved spaces. Please do not park at any time in the
reserved area adjacent to the Timothy House or your car may be towed. If you have any questions, please contact
the Transportation Ministry. Thank
you for your continued cooperation and support.
GOOD HOPE THROUGH GRACY MINISTRY—For positive messages of hope and
inspiration, tune in to Good Hope Through Grace Ministry
every Sunday at 8:00 pm on Channel 99 (Comcast) or on Channel 39 (Verizon). Host of this program is Reverend Basil
George Scott.
HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE RETREAT—The Baptist Congress of Christian
Education Baptist Youth Ministry is sponsoring a High School & College
Retreat at Camp Wo-Me-To, Jarretsville,
Maryland, July 31-August 1, 2010. Cost:
$174 per person which includes room, board, transportation and all
classes. There will be music,
parties, food, fellowship, and the opportunity to build a better
relationship with the Lord.

forms are due to the Scholarship Committee
July 28-- Scholarship Committee meeting at 6:00

August 8--Recognition Program during morning

WOMEN'S MINISTRY RETREAT--August 21-22 at Sandy Cove Ministries, Northeast,
Maryland. Cost $175.00 includes
transportation, lodging and meals, initial payment of $50.00 is needed to
reserve space. Final payment due NLT
August 8.
